Our Story

PLASTOSAC was founded in the early 1990s and entered the field of ice bag production as a co-packer for prestigious companies.

In its pursuit of growth and improvement, the company later transitioned to the production of film reels, starting with the extrusion of virgin PE pellets.

Today, starting with ready-to-use reels, we are capable of successfully producing shopping bags, pouches, large bags, garbage bags, and other polyethylene-derived products, both printed (with customized designs and text as required) and in special sizes. We even have the ability to insert RFID tags into bags, ensuring both their application and initialization. Additionally, we can add roll codes to the external labels with unique identification codes.

Last but not least are the drawstring bags with unique and innovative finishes recently introduced to the market.

The evolution of our company has always been characterized by the search for increasingly efficient machines and equipment dedicated to producing a single type of product reference.

The 2015 marked a significant step in the development of PLASTOSAC, with the installation of a new production line that allows us to produce competitive and high-quality products. However, to keep pace, we need to look beyond, and thus in 2019, we introduced a more innovative production system, ultimately leading to the state-of-the-art machinery we currently use, which is highly efficient and high-performing.

2023 marked a new milestone, with significant achievements such as ISO 9001:2015 certification, introducing a system of controls designed to enhance the precision and quality of our products. It also included a complete company relocation to a much more exclusive and larger facility, featuring improvements both in the production area and in the administrative sector, with the introduction of a new, state-of-the-art management system that is highly accurate and modern.

Thanks to these improvements, we have received recognitions such as ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018. We continually seek new ways to become as green as possible within our industry while also ensuring workplace safety for all our employees.

FLEXIBILITY

The close collaboration with our raw material suppliers enables us to meet our customers’ diverse needs with versatility and flexibility, allowing us to adjust production and delivery times accordingly.

Despite being a small family-run business, PLASTOSAC manages to compete with the major leaders in the Italian market.
